Founded in 1924 as an outfitter for daring individuals, Belstaff is no stranger to speed. The British brand has a rich history of equipping adventurers in the worlds of moto, mountaineering, aviation and beyond with practical pieces built to last. Today, the brand equips individuals with modern outerwear, clothing and accessories that deliver quality, functional integrity and style.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, when shoppers were rapidly adopting new digital habits, Belstaff was looking to strengthen the online experience for their customers. As they established new processes for engaging with and expanding upon their database of online consumers, the brand looked to Amazon Pay and the global payments platform Adyen to enhance their customer journey online and make the checkout process speedier and smoother.

When Belstaff launched Amazon Pay via Adyen, offering Amazon Pay across their checkout flow, they gave thousands of Amazon customers a familiar, fast and secure way to complete checkout online. Shoppers no longer had to create a new account or manually input their shipping or billing information at checkout, they could complete a purchase in just a few steps by using the information already stored in their Amazon accounts.

Belstaff streamlines the Amazon Pay integration process with Adyen

Amazon Pay’s seamless integration with Adyen’s platform not only helped Belstaff improve their customer experience, it also enabled them to consolidate their reporting process. Belstaff was able to access all their Amazon Pay transactions through the Adyen dashboard, incorporating them directly into their existing reporting, settlement and reconciliation processes. What’s more, Amazon Pay and Adyen’s dedicated technical teams made sure that the implementation process for Belstaff was seamless every step of the way. Belstaff were assigned a Solution Architect from Amazon Pay who worked alongside an Account Manager at Adyen, to inform the team on best practices and guide them through the transition.
