If you have an Amazon account…
We’ve got great news! You’re already signed up for Amazon Pay. There is no separate registration required to start using your Amazon account on partner sites. To get started, be sure to accept Amazon’s Conditions of Use and Privacy Notice when using Amazon Pay from a third-party site for the first time.
If you don’t have an Amazon account…
Not to worry, because when you click on Amazon Pay on any third-party website or app, you’ll be redirected to a sign-in page. Here, you can click on the link that reads, “Create your Amazon account”. Once your account is created, you’re ready to start using Amazon Pay.
Shopping with Amazon Pay in three easy steps
You can check out on tens of thousands of participating sites worldwide with Amazon Pay in three simple steps.
- Click the Amazon Pay button
By selecting Amazon Pay as your payment method, you’ll avoid any additional account creation steps on the merchant site that may be necessary with other payment options.
- Sign in
You’ll be prompted to sign in to your Amazon account, if you’re not already. Once you do, your account will be linked to the site’s checkout process.
- Complete your purchase
You’re ready to finalise your purchase. Confirm the credit card and address details already stored in your Amazon account and complete your checkout. If you need to change your credit card or delivery address, you can easily update this information in your account on Amazon.co.uk.
In addition to receiving an email from the merchant with the invoice, Amazon Pay will send you two emails — one notifying you that the payment has been authorised and a second one confirming the payment was completed.

View your payments
Amazon Pay provides a single view of your orders and transactions. Follow these three easy steps to manage your payments:
- Go to Amazon Pay and click Sign in.
- Select Check your Amazon Pay orders.
- To see more details of a specific order, including merchant contact information, click Details.
Viewing your order status
While you’re viewing order details, here is some context to help you understand various status stages when using Amazon Pay:
- Pending, you haven’t been charged yet. Your payment is being processed.
- Completed, you’ve been charged. Your payment was processed.
- Canceled, you haven’t been charged. Your payment was canceled.
