Amazon Pay for PrestaShop



How to integrate Amazon Pay Checkout V2 on Prestashop: 4:00


  1. Shop version:
    • Version 1.6 or higher
  2. PHP version:
    • Minimum version: PHP 5.5
    • Recommended version: PHP 7.1 or higher
  3. Third party plugins:
    If you’re using one of the following plugins, update to the minimum required version below.
    • One Page Checkout PS (Easy, Fast & Intuitive)
      version 2.7.9 for Prestashop 1.6
      version 4.0.12 for Prestashop 1.7
    • The Checkout
      version 3.3.0
    • One page checkout for Prestashop
      version 2.3.13 for Prestashop 1.6
      version 3.3.0 for Prestashop 1.7


  1. Sign in to your PrestaShop admin.
  2. Click Modules, and then click Module Catalog (for PrestaShop 1.6, click Modules and Services, and then click Modules & Themes Catalog).
  3. Search for Amazon Pay (Checkout v2), then click Enable, and then click Configure.


  1. In a new browser tab, sign in to Seller Central.
  2. Click Integration, and then click Integration Central.
  3. Under Integration Settings, select Website or mobile.
  4. In the drop-down menu, choose PrestaShop, and then choose your version.
  5. Click Get instructions.
  6. Scroll down to the section API access, and then click Create keys.
  7. In the pop-up window, select Generate API credentials, and then add your store name in the text field Name your API keys.
  8. Click Create keys, and then save the Private Key (PEM file) to your hard disk.
  9. Copy your Merchant ID, Public Key ID, and Store ID and paste them in the corresponding fields in the Authentication Tab in your PrestaShop admin.
  10. To upload your Private Key, click Add file, and then upload the Private Key file (PEM file) that you’ve downloaded in step 8.
  11. Choose the Region your Amazon Pay Merchant account is registered in, and then click Save.
  12. Open the Configuration tab.
  13. For Livemode choose Yes.
  14. For Loglevel choose Only errors.
  15. In the Capture mode drop-down menu, choose when an order will be captured (when order is placed, when order is shipped, or manually).
  16. For Authorization Processing Mode choose Synchronous.
  17. Set the different order statuses that correspond to your shop configuration.
  18. Click Save.
  19. Scroll down to the end of the page, and then copy the URL that show under Please use this URL for your IPN configuration.
  20. Go to Seller Central.
  21. Click Settings, then click Integration Settings, and then click Edit.
  22. Paste the URL you copied in step 18 into the field Merchant URL, and then click Update.
  23. In the drop-down menu on top of the page, choose Sandbox view, and then repeat steps 21-22.
  24. Switch back to Production view.

Alexa Delivery Notifications

  1. In your PrestaShop backend, open the tab Alexa Delivery Notifications.
  2. For Enable Alexa delivery notifications, choose Yes.
  3. For each carrier enabled in the shop, choose the correspond carrier supported by Amazon Pay from the dropdown menu on the right side.
  4. Click Save.
